Truck Driver / All Rounder - HC or Above Licence

We require a truck driver for modular building relocations.  We split, load, transport and rejoin buildings. 

 

The nature of this position involves all types of work, not just truck driving.  Including but not limited to; general maintenance of all types of plant and equipment, washing/pressure cleaning, skid steer and dingo operating and general carpentry. 

 

• You must be prepared and available to some weekends and work away from time to time, which will occasionally include camping conditions.

• Work well unsupervised and as part of a close team. 

• Comfortable with getting dirty and physically fit enough to be up and down trucks as well as underneath and on top of buildings.

• Candidates will only be considered if they hold a HC or greater licence. Due to applicant quantities, any without suitable licences will be disregarded.

• Those with trade qualifications or decent handyman capabilities will be strongly considered.

• Other plant operation certificates an advantage.

House transportation is a specialised industry, we use hydraulic jacking trailers for which full training is available, to the right person.  We are a family owned and managed business.  We are looking for a new member to join our small, friendly team on a long term basis.

The position will be on a casual basis for probationary period, commencing on $25-$30 per hour.  You will be required to pass a drug and alcohol test if you are the successful candidate.
